Real Madrid star Gareth Bale could reportedly snub a move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in order to make a dramatic return to the Premier League.

Bale has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer, after having suffered serious knee and ankle injuries leading him out of Zinedine Zidane’s line-up for majority of the season.

The Welsh superstar just made 27 appearances for Los Blancos last season, and was also dropped for the Champions League final against Juventus to make way for attacking midfielder, Isco.

It was previously reported that Madrid chief Florentino Perez had also grown frustrated with the winger’s inability to remain fit. And due to the increased level of speculation surrounding the Welshman, many European giants are eyeing to capture the unsettled superstar.

PSG and Manchester United have reportedly come up as top admirers of the 27-year-old, and are said to be keeping a close eye on the situation. But one of the major factors that would play a critical role in Bale’s departure would be the arrival of Monaco’s teen sensation, Kylian Mbappe, who is Real’s prime summer transfer target.

And should the 18-year-old Frenchman make a switch to the Bernabeu this summer, it would definitely mean an imminent exit for Bale. However, as reported by Diario Gol, the Wales international does not want to move to France, but may instead fancy a return England.

Chelsea, along with United, are the two Premier League clubs looking to acquire Bale this summer, and the news would definitely come as a boost for them if they decide to take their pursuit into the next gear.
