Manchester United seem to have bagged the signature of Everton’s talisman Romelu Lukaku, as per reports. The Belgian is now on the brink of joining the Red Devils, after the Premier League clubs agreed on a £75 million fee for the striker.

It was reported by BBC that United and Everton have settled on a massive £75m transfer fee for Lukaku.

The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a switch to Chelsea, but as it appears, the former Blues’ man may eventually reunite with Mourinho at Old Trafford rather than move to Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Everton striker has already gained the approval of former United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish striker spoke to BT Sport about the young striker in an interview this April, describing him as one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Ibrahimovic was quoted as saying: “For me, I like a striker who makes a difference. I feel Lukaku is strong. Aguero is good, he’s all-round.”

Lukaku has scored 85 goals in 153 Premier League appearances, with a 0.55 goals per game ratio.
