AC Milan Continue Spending; Sign Atalanta’s Andrea Conti
AC Milan have secured their 7th signing of the transfer window already, by wrapping up the deal for Atalanta’s Andrea Conti.
The new look AC Milan is progressing in full force, as the Italian giants concluded their 7th signing for the season. The U-21 Euro Cup star for Italy, Andrea Conti, is the latest reinforcement to bolster the new project at San Siro.
Funded by the Chinese takeover, AC Milan continue their aggressive makeover to get back among the elites of Europe.
Conti is the second arrival at Milan from Atalanta in this transfer window alone, as midfielder Franck Kessie had already made the same switch at the start of window. The Rossoneri have paid £21 million for the full-back, who was on the radars of clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool.
The 23-year-old was a crucial cog in the machine of Atalanta last season, as he started 33 matches for the club. The defender had an impressive season with his old club, where he scored 8 goals and assisted 5 – certainly a handsome return from a full-back.

Their seven new signings from the current summer window include the likes of Andre Silva, Hakan Calhanoglu, Franck Kessie, Ricardo Rodriguez, Fabio Borini, and Mateo Musacchio, with the latest being Conti himself.
