What’s the story?

According to latest reports coming in from the Sun, the North London club managed by the French Boss has lately been linked with Thomas Lemar, and they have progressed forward in the deal, as personal terms have been agreed upon by all parties involved. The deal seems closer than ever, and the wages are assumed to be set at approximately £90,000-a-week.

Should the deal take place?

The 21-year-old has been integral to Monaco’s success in the season gone by, and has hence been priced at a staggering £80 million by the Ligue 1 champions of 2016-17. Arsenal have had a couple bids rejected by the side earlier, and their latest offer of £40 million is currently on the table. The Premier League club has already brought in star striker Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, and adding another player from the same country might benefit Wenger and his optimistic plans a great deal.

Possibility of it happening

The possibility of Thomas Lemar arriving is currently placed at 6/10.

 2. Demarai Gray To Everton

What’s the story?

There is no denying the ambitions Ronald Koeman has in mind with his team from Merseyside, and hence, the latest rumours coming in from Sky Sports suggesting the transfer of Demarai Gray to the club seem highly believable. The club has been on a spending spree so far, and is expected to also reel in Wayne Rooney and Olivier Giroud in the coming week as well.

Should the deal take place?

The player has simply not been able to break into the first team at Leicester City despite the talents he possesses, and after managing only 4 starts in the entire of last season, moving on to a club wishing to fully avail his services might seem like the best choice to make. Everton seem to be aiming for high profile attackers in the summer, and Gray could very well fit the bill.

Possibility of it happening

The chances of the player coming to Everton are currently 7/10.

What’s the story?

With Romelu Lukaku almost on the verge of signing, the Daily Mail suggest that Jose Mourinho is already focusing on his next step, as he targets Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl as the player to welcome at Old Trafford.

Should the deal take place?

The central defensive midfielder has impressed one and all in the Bundesliga, and could be the answer to the Portuguese’s worries, after the deals with Nemanja Matic and Eric Dier turned out to be unsuccessful. The 21-year-old has an entire career left in front of him, and if the Red Devils come calling, there should be no two ways about it.

Possibility of it happening

The possibility of him coming to Manchester is currently 5/10.

4. James Rodriguez To Chelsea

What’s the story?

Spanish outlet AS (via Metro) might finally have given the Chelsea fans a much needed breath of fresh air in the ongoing transfer market, according to one of their latest reports. The Blues are assumed to have gotten over their apparent loss of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, and seem to be taking other matters into their own hands before anything else goes wrong. Antonio Conte is now shifting his focus to Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez, and has also been given the green signal by Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane.

Should the deal take place?

The creative midfielder has fallen heavily down the ranks at the Santiago Bernabeu in the season gone by, and after managing to start only 13 games, it is fair to say that he will be itching to leave and head to a place where not only is his talent respected, but also valued. The player is in desperate need of some game time to revive his fallen career, and given Chelsea’s frustration of buying lack of players, he could well be arriving at Stamford bridge in the weeks to follow.

Possibility of it happening

James is a player waiting to show the world what he can do on the pitch, and with Chelsea in the Champions League and ready to defend their crown of England’s best, this could be the ideal platform the player could use to launch his career towards sky high levels.
