Twitter Goes Crazy After Tiemoue Bakayoko ‘Likes’ A Certain Tweet
AS Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko has sent fans begging for answers, as a tweet claiming Chelsea have rejected the midfielder was ‘liked’ by the midfielder.
Till recently, fans and football fanatics around Europe believed Bakayoko to Chelsea was a ‘done deal’, but the Blues are yet to announce the signing, rumoured to be worth around £35 million. However, it now seems like the situation is quite different from what was believed to be.
As it stands, Antonio Conte’s side have rejected the French International, despite the Italian’s strong admiration for him. It seemed as if Chelsea listed him as a high priority target this summer, but have now ended up abandoning their pursuit for the 22-year-old.
And now, the youngster has given rise to tremendous speculation, by ‘liking’ a tweet that read: “Chelsea rejected him, United are hesitating, he’s calling everyone, he contacted Liverpool himself.”

Though the midfield ‘wall’ reportedly wants to leave the French champions this summer, there are multiple conclusions that can be drawn from this tweet.
Firstly, the Frenchman could’ve liked it accidentally, and the media could’ve stumbled upon it at an unfortunate time. Though this might sound far-fetched, but this has proved to be the truth in most cases of similar twitter dramas.
Secondly, it could’ve been a deliberate mock towards such claims. Or thirdly, it might as well be true.
Though no concrete confirmation on the issue has come to light, Bakayoko’s future has faded further under the cloud of doubt.
The defensive midfielder impressed last season with a stunning campaign, helping Leonardo Jardim’s men clinch the Ligue 1 title, as well as reaching the Champions League semi-finals, where they were knocked out by eventual runners-up Juventus.
Meanwhile, reports claim that Monaco are not willing to let the midfielder leave the club this summer, and he is expected to stay for at least another season. Only time will tell how the whole saga unravels…
