Antoine Griezmann Sacks His Agent
Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann has decided to terminate the services of his long serving agent Eric Olhats.
The Frenchman had his Manchester United move collapsed this summer due to his club facing a transfer ban, and understandably, not allowing him to move.
However, in the aftermath of the incident, Griezmann has sacked his representative, as the forward feels the agent didn’t cope well with the situation.

The 26-year-old was subject to a world record transfer bid from Manchester United, but the transfer ban imposed on Atletico changed the whole scenario, and Griezmann was made to stay.
Griezmann even signed a new long-term deal with the Spanish club, stating it would have been ‘dirty’ to leave the club in such a crisis.
Olhats, who had been representing Griezmann from his less known days at Real Sociedad, confirmed the story by saying: “The recent positioning of Griezmann’s image and future is no longer in harmony with our vision as a partnership. I will focus on my role as a Real Sociedad scout.”
While talking to L’Equipe, the agent then thanked Griezmann, and also wished him luck by stating: “I thank [Griezmann] for his confidence in me over the course of various years. Obviously I wish him the best in the next chapter of his career.”
Although Griezmann signed a new deal with Atletico this summer, he has conceded that he might still move away from the Spanish capital next summer. Atletico Madrid will get their transfer ban lifted in January, which will allow them to recruit players again.
