David De Gea is determined to leave Manchester United for Real Madrid this summer, and the Spaniard has asked Jorge Mendes to pave a way out, reports Spanish outlet Don Balon.

The Manchester United No. 1 has made his mind up to not have a repeat of 2015, when his move to Real Madrid collapsed on deadline day, and finalize the transfer well in advance this time around. As a result, the goalkeeper has decided to use his super-agent Jorge Mendes to get his wish.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, who has been a long-term admirer of De Gea, is ready to launch a £50 million bid to land his favorite shot-stopper.

Sensing the opportunity to fulfill his dream of moving to Real Madrid yet again, De Gea is said to be adamant on forcing himself out of Old Trafford.

Although the 26-year-old is aware of the bad relationship between the English and Spanish heavyweights over the last few years, he still has faith in his agent to work his magic and get the deal done.
