AC Milan are attempting to lure Andrea Belotti to the San Siro, and have offered Torino a sum of €40 million plus Gabriel Paletta.
Belotti is one of the hottest properties on the transfer market at the moment, and has attracted a lot of interest from a number of Europe’s elite clubs.
He was also linked with a switch to Chelsea, but nothing solid has come out of the rumors. However, AC Milan are now said to hold a concrete interest in the centre forward, and are desperate to add him to their already incredible ranks.
The Italian giants have gone on a shopping spree this summer after receiving a fresh influx of cash following the club’s takeover by a Chinese consortium earlier this year.
They have brought in the likes of Andre Silva from FC Porto; midfielders Ricardo Rodriguez (Wolfsburg), Franck Kessie and Andrea Conti (Atalanta), Hakan Calhanoglu (Bayer Leverkusen) and Lucas Biglia (Lazio); and defender Mateo Musacchio (Villarreal).
Leonardo Bonucci has also completed his move from Juventus, but it appears that the club are not intent on stopping the summer splurge just yet. Several other targets are set to come in, but Belotti now appears to be a priority signing.
The 23-year-old striker’s stock has risen dramatically after a marvelous 2016-17 campaign that saw him make 38 appearances in all competitions for the Italian side. He managed to score a magnificent total of 28 goals in those appearances, and it is therefore obvious that so many clubs have shown an interest.
According to Sky Sports news reporter Kaveh Solhekol, the Rossoneri have prepared an offer worth €40 million plus defender Gabriel Paletta to try and convince their fellow Serie A side to sell their prized possession.
Solhekol posted a tweet on his twitter page reporting the interest, which read: “Sky Italy: AC Milan offer for Torino striker Andrea Belotti is €40m + defender Gabriel Paletta. Other targets up front Aubameyang & Kalinic.”
