Inter Include Ivan Perisic In Pre-Season Squad Amid Exit Speculation
Serie A club Inter Milan have included Ivan Perisic in the 28-man squad for their pre-season tour of China and Singapore in Asia. The versatile winger was said to have been close to joining Manchester United, but now it seems that the transfer is going to take a while.
No agreement has been reached between the two clubs for Perisic, despite certain media houses claiming that United are closing in on the Croatian.
Jose Mourinho has seen a £40m bid rejected already, and the Old Trafford club raised their offer to £44m, but that too seems insufficient, as Inter are holding onto their £48m valuation.
It was reported that Perisic wants a move to England and will not be taking part in Inter’s pre-season tour, but now, that has been quashed. The former Borussia Dortmund player has found himself at the centre of a summer transfer saga, with speculation regarding his future having raged for several weeks.
