Portuguese wonderkid Renato Sanches is on the verge of leaving Bayern Munich after a disappointing season, with several suitors interested in his services. However, Carlo Ancelotti wants the midfielder to join AC Milan on loan, in order to get back to his best.
The 19-year-old was chosen as the winner of European Golden Boy title in the year of 2016, following an impressive Euro Campaign in the summer. But since then, the teenager has failed to shine at the Allianz Arena, where he has found his playing time very limited.
AC Milan and United are interested in signing the player, but both the clubs are trying to buy Sanches on a permanent transfer. Ancelotti, on the other hand, wants the midfielder go out on a loan to get some playing time and get back into his groove.
While talking to the press, the Italian tactician confessed his desire to loan out Sanches to the Rossoneri, by stating: “Renato is under a contract at Bayern Munich, but I am trying to make him fall in love with AC Milan.”
Meanwhile, the Premier League side will try to beat Milan by trying to sign the youngster for a second time. Having failed to lure the Portuguese to Old Trafford last year, Jose Mourinho will try to secure his long term target yet again.
Bayern are apparently open to selling Sanches for bids in the region of £42 million, despite having signed the youngster for £35 million from Benfica last summer.
