Jose Mourinho Rules Out The Prospect Of Signing Gareth Bale
Gareth Bale has been linked with a move to Manchester United for years, but Jose Mourinho has now revealed that he has no interest in signing the Welshman.
The Red Devils boss has put the annual rumors of Bale joining the Red Devils to bed by claiming that there is no interest from his side.
The Welsh international has been touted to return to England on a number of occasions, particularly to United, during the last 4 years. However, it now seems that fans anticipating the mega transfer will have to wait for at least another year.
When quizzed about Bale, Mourinho said: ” No (he was not on my list of targets). No, because you have contacts, you have feelings, you understand things. It seems to me that Bale likes Madrid, likes the challenge, likes the situation.”

Manchester United are currently undergoing their pre-season tour in USA, where they beat arch-rivals Manchester City 2-0 in a friendly last week. The new signings Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof have also made it into the squad which will play Real Madrid next, as a part of their pre-season fixtures.
While talking to the press, Mourinho was also asked about his remaining transfer targets for the transfer window, to which the Portuguese coach replied: “You know, names is difficult for me because as you know the players belong to clubs, the players they are in pre-seasons. The managers, the owners, they are not happy if you speak about them. The same as me.”
Nemanja Matic, Marco Verratti, Serge Aurier, Fabinho, Eric Dier, and Ivan Perisic are some of the names linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer.
