After the sale of Bernardo Silva, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Valere Germain for around €100m, Monaco seem tired of suitors taking their prized players away. Their solution? They have slapped a gigantic €190m price tag on star striker Kylian Mbappe, according to Marca.

The French club believes that the hefty price tag will help in keeping the potential suitors away, as they do not wish to sell the prodigious striker this summer.

Mbappe is undoubtedly the hottest prospect in European football right now, and almost all the big clubs are waiting on their toes to sign the young striker. European giants like Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal, and Man City have all been consistently linked with the Frenchman throughout the summer.

To fend off the interest, Monaco have set a mammoth price tag on their starlet, which the club hierarchy believes to be absolutely justified, given the talent that the 18-year-old is blessed with.

Interestingly, this announcement comes after PSG’s staggering offer to lure Neymar away from Barcelona. Perhaps, the French Champions believe that if Unai Emery’s side fail to land the Brazilian, they would definitely come looking for the young Frenchman yet again.

Moreover, Monaco have expressed their displeasure over the clubs who tried talking to their young striker without informing them. They alleged that illegal approaches were made to Frenchman without taking them in confidence.
