United Set To Trigger Brazilian Attacker’s Buy-Out Clause
Manchester United are set to make Anderson Talisca their fourth signing of the summer, if reports are to be believed.
The SL Benfica starlet is about to enter the second season of his two-year-long loan deal with Turkish giants Besiktas. However, United are said to have activated the £25 million release clause in his contract with Benfica, and the player could be on his way to Old Trafford this summer.
It is common knowledge that Jose Mourinho is anxious to see another attacking player added to his expensively assembled squad, as he aims to go all out to win the Premier League in the upcoming season.
Having tried and failed with several unfruitful bids for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, Jose Mourinho has apparently turned to the alternative options on his list of targets for this transfer window.

Talisca, still only 23 years of age, is one of the names that feature high up on the Portuguese manager’s wishlist, and the Red Devils have now reportedly struck a deal with Benfica for the player’s transfer, having activated his release clause.
Talisca is one of the most highly-rated young talents in Europe at the moment. Primarily a creative midfielder, he also has an eye for goal, as displayed by the statistics of his first year at Besiktas – 17 goals in 33 games.
Mourinho is eager to sign a player who can offer quality in the final third as well as reduce the goal-scoring burden that is set to be placed on new signing Romelu Lukaku this season, and Talisca is a player that is seen to fit the bill. He is apparently keen on playing in the Premier League as well, and that should work to United’s advantage.
Besiktas have denied all rumors related to the proposed move to the Theatre of Dreams, and have insisted that the young Portuguese will remain in Turkey for another season.
However, when quizzed about the interest from England in June, Talisca was quoted saying: ‘It’s a question that I can not answer… yet, but it’s a love that exists, I will not lie.
‘It’s something that all players want (a move to Manchester United). I had a good season and, as I said, his (Mourinho’s) love is old and I like his work as well. I hope everything works out.’
