Manchester United have been in talks to sign Inter’s Ivan Perisic all summer, yet a possible deal is far from agreed. However, Perisic’ agent, Fali Ramadani, is doing all he can to sort out his client’s future before the transfer window ends.

According to Calciomercato, Ramadani is set for a meeting with Inter owners, where it will be decided whether the Croatian winger will sign a new deal or leave for Manchester United.

The agent is going to ask Inter to grant Perisic permission to join the English Club, who have recently made an improved bid worth £39 million.

Inter want more money for a straight transfer, as the club is believed to be holding out for a bid in the region of £50 million. The Italian club also proposed to sign Anthony Martial in a direct swap deal, however, Manchester United were quick to turn down the offer, as they believe that their French starlet still has a part to play.

Meanwhile, the reigning Europa League Champions await the decision taken in the meeting between Perisic’s agent and Inter Milan owners. If the Croatian signs a new deal with the Serie A outfit, Mourinho will shift his focus onto other potential signings like Gareth Bale.
