Monaco Won’t Sell Fabinho To PSG
AS Monaco have decided that they won’t sell Fabinho to rivals PSG.
The news from Sky Sport comes days after it was widely reported that their Ligue 1 rivals were planning to bring both Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho to the French capital.
However, this chaos has given some hope to Man Utd, who have been pursuing the Brazilian ever since the transfer window opened this summer. It is being believed that the Europa League Champions are aiming to bolster their midfield further, having already brought in Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
Interestingly, Fabinho’s representative, Jorge Mendes, also happens to be the agent of United boss Jose Mourinho. This, in all speciality, is one link that currently makes everyone believe that the super-agent could try and unite two of his star clients.
Fabinho played a huge part in Monaco’s dream run last season. He is an extremely versatile player who can be deployed either as a right-back or a ball playing midfielder. Needless to say, any manager would love to have someone like him in his ranks because of the possibilities that the Brazilian brings to the table.
As for the Red Devils, they can make use of Fabinho’s talents to bring out the best in their talisman, Paul Pogba. With Matic acting as a holding midfielder, and Fabinho playing the role of an orchestrator in the middle of the park, the Frenchman can roam around freely and get into positions from where he can be a lethal goalscoring threat.
