In a window that has already seen them lose quality talent in the form of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva, and Benjamin Mendy, AS Monaco now seem to be coming out in force.

Following the possibility of losing key player Kylian Mbappé to Paris Saint-Germain in a potential big money move, the reigning Ligue 1 champions are now looking at potential alternatives.

It has emerged that they will look to sign Premier League trio Diego Costa, Alexis Sanchez, and Anthony Martial from their respective clubs, as per RMC Sports journalist Loic Tanzi. Needless to say, if these deals come through to reality, it will be a spectacular spur of business from the French side.

Diego Costa seems the most likely player to arrive at the Stade Louis II. The Chelsea striker has shown an earnest desire to depart from England following a major fallout with manager Antonio Conte. Despite former club Atletico Madrid being dubbed as his preferred destination, Monaco might just land the 28-year old.

However, Arsenal’s danger man Alexis Sanchez might be a doubtful prospect. In spite of the stellar winger being linked with a departure from London all summer, Arsène Wenger has time and again reassured club supporters that the player shall remain with the Gunners. Currently out of the squad due to illness, Sanchez looks to be a difficult deal for the French side.

Lastly, the French outfit might also pursue in-form Man Utd winger Anthony Martial. The brilliant youngster put up a startling display in his opening two performances for the Red Devils this season, netting two goals and creating another despite having come on as a substitute on both the occasions.

Moreover, despite Monaco being his former club, it is highly unlikely that the Frenchman will opt for a move away from Old Trafford, having already thwarted strong interest from the likes of Tottenham and Inter Milan this season.

Monaco erupted onto the world stage after their promotion to the Ligue 1, and making a string of prominent transfers, backed by a financially strong management.

Coupled with reliant talent, the club tasted grand success last season through the resilient fashion in which they stole the Ligue 1 crown from PSG. However, it remains to be seen what tricks they can work in the remaining days of the window to ensure a title defense.
