While the whole world is still reminiscing Neymar’s record transfer to PSG, the entire football fraternity might be in for yet another shock before the transfer window draws to its close. Diario Gol believes that Chelsea’s Eden Hazard might after all be on his way to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid have had an uncharacteristically quiet summer. Apart from the two signings in Theo Hernandez and Dani Ceballos, the All Whites have not made any Galactico-esque signings this summer. There have been a few customary linkups with David De Gea, but nothing has substantiated to anything.

However, all might change, as reports in Spain have been claiming that Hazard’s representative has been in constant touch with Zinedine Zidane, who is known to be a huge admirer of the Belgian. In fact, the Frenchman has reportedly asked club President Florentino Perez to make a move for the mercurial winger.

However, Perez has so far been reluctant to see through the transfer that is likely to involve a huge sum of money. His scepticism stems from the fact that Hazard’s arrival in the Spanish capital could mar the progress of Marco Asensio, who has shown immense potential to succeed at the Bernabeu.

But, there is one thing that could change everything. Real Madrid look like a side that certainly need some revamping. Alvaro Morata has departed, and so has James Rodriguez; Gareth Bale has been dealing with injuries since his arrival.

Therefore, the demands of the time stand clear. Los Blancos need to have an attacking player who can fill the seeming void. With Kylian Mbappe being unavailable at the moment, Hazard emerges as the perfect piece to complete Zidane’s jigsaw. Don’t be shocked if this rumor turns into reality.
