Shock Premier League Club Considers A Loan Move For Renato Sanches
Swansea City are considering a loan move for Bayern Munich outcast Renato Sanches.
Due to his outstanding exploits for Portugal in Euro 2016, Bayern Munich fought with many European elite clubs to sign the talented midfielder from Benfica last summer.
However, things haven’t gone exactly well for Sanches, as he continues to find it very difficult to break into the first team set-up.
Sanches started just 9 matches last season, and despite enduring a disastrous 12 months at Allianz Arena, the 20-year-old has no shortage of suitors, as Man Utd, Liverpool, and Chelsea are being strongly linked with him.
The Red Devils seem to have cooled off their interest after the signing of Nemanja Matic, though, but Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly fighting to lure Sanches away from Germany.
While it seemed likely that either of these two Premier League giants would sign the former Benfica man, the latest reports come up with a bombshell, as they suggest that Swansea City are considering a loan move for Sanches, and could seal a deal for the Portugal international before the deadline day.
There is no doubt that Swansea have the resources to sign Sanches, as Paul Clement has money to spend following the departure of Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton, coupled with the fact that the 45-year-old has worked with Sanches during his time as assistant coach to Carlo Ancelotti in Munich.
Also, on the other hand, Bayern Munich want Sanches to continue his developments as a player, so a loan move could be a great choice for the German giants, instead of selling him permanently.
There is no denying that the odds are not at all in favour of Swansea City, which is why it would be genuinely interesting to see whether they pull off the headline signing before the transfer window closes.
