Jose Mourinho Open To Selling One Of His Most Trusted Players
Ashley Young is about to be told that he can leave Manchester United.
As reported earlier, Ashley Young had expressed his desire to stay at Manchester United by requesting a new contract. However, Jose Mourinho is said to be ready to pave a way out for the veteran by offering him out. Young was keen to stay with Manchester United, and he even rejected offers from China to be a back-up at Old Trafford.
Although Mourinho is a big admirer of Young, he will reportedly tell the player that he is free to leave, as he can’t find a place for the Englishman in his plans. The decision to extend Luke Shaw’s contract is linked to the sanctioning of Young’s departure from the club.

Ashley Young still has 12 months left on his current deal with Manchester United, and the player was hoping that the club will trigger the one-year extension in the contract to keep him. However, the player is now likely to be offloaded in the winter transfer window.
Young, who signed for United in 2011, is one of the longest serving players in the team at Old Trafford right now.
A club source has even given a statement to The Sun on Young’s future, which says: “Ashley and the boss are going to sit down with his reps and discuss his future. He can leave on a free next summer but has the option. The club won’t stand in his way if he wants to go though.”
