Club Confirms Man Utd Have Officially Signed Man City Target
When it comes to prestige, Manchester United undoubtedly have the edge over their neighboring rivals Manchester City.
As of such, irrespective of what kind of wages the financially strong Blues might look to offer, the fame of the Red Devils often trumps all.
This certainly seems to be the case in United’s latest signing, whom they snuck from right beneath City’s nose.

Furthermore, remarking upon the skills of the teenager, he said: “We did not want to sell him, we did not need a fee for him even though there was a fee involved. He has been unbelievable for us, even making his England debut back in August. Charlie goes with complete support from me and the rest of the staff from the Academy.”
Following his English debut, the youth player fell on the radars of several clubs, particularly Man City.
In the end, however, it was Jose Mourinho’s side that was successful in securing his services. It is believed that McCann himself rejected City, and chose his dream outfit instead.
With youngsters making a tremendous impact on European football of late, it will be interesting to see what the young Englishman has up his sleeve. Will he follow the footsteps of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard, or will the academy be his sole tryst with the Premier League giants?
