Neymar, the world record transfer signing, seems to be already facing problems adjusting in Paris with his new employers, according to reports.

Neymar completed a record breaking £198 million move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and the Brazilian has already become a fan favourite following his thunderous performances in both Ligue 1 as well as the Champions League.

Joining forces with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe, the 25-year-old has arguably formed one of the most scintillating partnerships in world football. Having scored a tally of 16 goals already, the trio currently seems unstoppable, but recent reports suggest that a small problem may be developing between Neymar and Cavani.

According to SFR Sport, the duo seems to be engaged in a battle between the walls as to who should be PSG’s number one penalty taker. It was reported that the Brazilian starlet wants to become the club’s first choice penalty taker – a role currently assigned to the Uruguayan striker.

‘Not Messi’ – Watch What Happened When Neymar Asked Cavani For The Spotkick

SFR Sport tweeted: “In private, Neymar confides that he would like to draw the penalties…”

It was further claimed that Neymar, who moved to France in a hope to add the FIFA Ballon d’Or to his collection of accolades, is believed to be growing frustrated with this situation, especially after an incident last month.

The camera captured the 25-year-old asking Cavani for a spot-kick, but the striker held the ball tight in his grasp, to take the penalty against St. Etienne. The 30-year-old snubbed the Brazilian’s request right away, and instead took the spot kick himself.

Neymar has already scored 5 goals this season, whilst also helping in setting up 5 more in his 5 appearances for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions.
