PSG Man Asks French Giants To Sign This Manchester United Player
Paris Saint-Germain have already made two bumper signings in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but Thomas Meunier still wants his club to sign a Manchester United player.
Neymar and Mbappe might have been the glittering transfers of the summer for PSG, but Meunier feels that they could do with a less flamboyant signing to add steel to their defence and shape.
The right-back feels that his club should sign Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic, who has just moved from Chelsea to Old Trafford during the transfer window.
The Belgian full-back was recently asked which player could help his club strengthen even further, to which he replied (via SFR Sport): “Matic, I would have liked to see him in Paris.”
Meunier clearly feels that Paris Saint Germain could use the defensive discipline and resilience shown by the Serbian.
Matic was subject of a long drawn transfer drama in the summer, when Chelsea did not wish to sell the player to rivals Manchester United.
However, the Blues had to give in to the demands of their player, as the midfield maestro got his wish of a re-union with his former boss Jose Mourinho.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are delighted with their latest midfield signing, as Matic has stood out as one of the signings of the season so far. Understandably, Mourinho won’t let go of his prized player anytime soon, and Meunier will have to wait for a while for PSG to sign the midfielder.
