According to AS, Bale suffered abuses from fans in a promotional event at Madrid’s City Centre. This comes after he faced a similar instance post the match against Apoel.

The report states that a certain section of the crowd shouted ‘Speak Spanish’ during the event.

Bale moved from Tottenham in 2013, and since then, has been an integral part of Real, as he saw himself winning a host of trophies, including 3 Champions League titles. But the player is yet to convince the fans and manager Zinedine Zidane with his performances this season.

Bale suffered an injury-raven campaign last term, and is yet to show his potential this season, after featuring 6 times and scoring a solitary goal. He did play a crucial role against Apoel and made two assists, and that performance will bring a lot of confidence in the player, and if he manages to strike similar chords on a consistent basis, then he will surely find a regular starting berth in the side.
