PSG To Offload Five In-Demand Players In January
After managing to secure the services of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe for stellar amounts, Paris Saint-Germain are finally set to offload some of their players.
The Ligue 1 giants spent around the region of £360 million to bring star reinforcements to the French capital. However, since UEFA have launched an investigation regarding FFP breach allegations against PSG, they have decided to sell five players to compensate for the transfer funds lost this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the French giants are planning to sell the likes of Julian Draxler, Angel di Maria, Lucas Moura, Kevin Trapp and Javier Pastore; all wanted by several European giants.
Arsenal, Inter Milan, and Barcelona have registered their interest in at least one of these players, and are expected to make a move for them when PSG put them up for sale in January.
The Gunners have failed to sign Draxler on two occasions in the past, when the player initially chose Wolfsburg, and then his current club, over the Londoners. The Red Devils, on the other hand, have been eyeing Moura since the Sir Alex Ferguson era.
Meanwhile, regardless of the deteriorated relationship between Barca and PSG, the Spanish giants are reportedly interested in bringing Di Maria to the Nou Camp.
However, it remains to be seen whether the French side adds more names to this list. Regardless, this certainly means that an exciting winter transfer window awaits us.
