Twitter Trolls ‘Overrated’ Klopp After Liverpool’s Dismal Draw Against Newcastle
Twitter trolls rose in fine form after seeing Liverpool fail to win their Premier League fixture against Newcastle United.
The Reds knew they had to win to revive their title challenge, but Jurgen Klopp’s men were found uninspiring in a draw that has sent Liverpool out of top 6. Liverpool are already 7 points away from the first place, where Manchester City are sitting pretty.
In a week wherein Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham won their respective fixtures, Liverpool have faced ignominy after drawing against a team which is considered much weaker. As a result, the Merseyside outfit finds itself in 7th position in the Premier League table.
Arsenal fans have taken special interest in trolling Liverpool, as the Gunners have now climbed above the Reds in the table. Klopp’s men looked like proper title contenders after hammering Arsenal at home, but they have been thoroughly poor ever since.
Coutinho gave Liverpool the advantage in the first half with a superb long range effort, and it looked like the visitors would come out of as easy winners. However, Newcastle grew into the game and got their equalizer through Joselu in the second half.
The home team even had a chance to win the game in the dying minutes of the match, but Lovren made a crucial tackle to earn a point for Liverpool.
All the best twitter reactions:
Liverpool have one win in 7 games. Yet to win a game in the Champions league this season.
But Klopp is a great because he hugs his players

Liverpool currently in seventh place, below Burnley on goal difference. Is Jürgen Klopp overrated? One win in seven is atrocious.

Liverpool back to being a mid table club. Good old glory days are back after just 1 season.

People love to talk about price tags, but it’s not Oxlade-Chamberlain’s fault that Liverpool spent £35m on a player that isn’t very good.

Jürgen Klopp is the most overrated manager in the Premier League, not even debatable. What has he actually achieved at Liverpool? I’ll wait.
