Anthony Martial had recently been linked with a move to Arsenal, but according to M.E.N Sports, the youngster is quite satisfied with life at Old Trafford, and has no intention of departing from Manchester.

Multiple reports speculated a surprise move for the Frenchman as a replacement to Alexis Sanchez, who looks set to secure a move away from the Emirates next summer, if not during the winter transfer window. The Gunners reportedly intended on capitalising upon the inconsistent game time allotted to Martial.

The talented forward has made just 9 appearances this season, but has still managed to rack up an unbelievable 5 goals and 6 assists, giving context to the Londoners’ interest.

However, despite strong claims of a looming possibility of a switch, the Red Devils and the player himself are satisfied with each other, as per M.E.N. The Frenchman has been on the course of building a better relationship with boss Jose Mourinho, and feels he is close to becoming a regular starter at the club.

On the other hand, Arséne Wenger’s side faces yet another crisis now, as almost every replacement target looks unlikely to make the switch to North London. Sanchez, whose contract expires at the end of this campaign, hasn’t shown any signs of committing his future to the club either.

Nevertheless, the 21-year-old is widely expected to stay put in Manchester, unless Wenger decides to cash out fancy numbers in terms of money to lure him away. The Chilean international’s departure fee would do more than enough to financially compensate for that, unless, devastatingly, he leaves as a free agent next summer.
