Gareth Bale could reportedly repudiate offers from Chelsea to return to his former Premier League club, as Tottenham are set to table the Welshman an offer if he does depart from the Santiago Bernabéu next summer.
The mercurial forward has been competing more with his injuries than the opposite defenders since he commenced his career in the Spanish capital. Further, he hasn’t been able to put up consistent performances, despite not being short on attacking prowess.
Consequently, according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Los Blancos are finding it strenuous to cope with the winger’s incompetence in the La Liga owing to the deleterious spell, and are prepared to offload him next summer, due to the fact that the player isn’t getting enough match time.
The Wales talisman is currently not operating on the field, as he has picked up yet another calf injury, which constitutes to his tally of seven former very same injuries since joining the club back in 2013. Consequently, he has slipped down the pecking order at Real Madrid.
