PSG To Use Secret Weapon To Convince Mourinho To Sign

Paris Saint-Germain are confident that they can convince Jose Mourinho to sign for them by using their secret weapon – Antero Henrique.

The French club has been working out ways to bring the Portuguese manager to Paris, after his comments earlier this week showed that he was interested in a move later on in his career.

PSG’s sole objective over the last year or so has been to win the Champions League, and they are unsure of whether that feat can be achieved with current boss Unai Emery at the helm. Hence, they have started plotting a move for Mourinho, and are weighing up every possible strategy.

The one that seems most likely to work as of now, is using their sporting director, Antero Henrique, as bait. Henrique worked with Mourinho at Porto, and with the United boss being unhappy with Ed Woodward’s work, he could be convinced by his former colleague to join the French outfit when his contract expires at Old Trafford in 2019.

Mourinho sought to stifle rumors about his exit, claiming the situation has been blown out of proportion by the English media, and that he has no immediate plans to leave the Theatre of Dreams.

“I think you English media have the answer for that because in one day it says I am going to sign a five year contract worth £1billion per season and then the next day you say that I am leaving and going to PSG – I think that is the answer,” said Mourinho, speaking ahead of United’s Champions League clash with Benfica.

“The answer is that nothing is happening; I am not signing a new five year contract and I am not leaving for PSG. I am at Man United and that is it. I have a contract I don’t think there is an answer for that. I am not in the conditions to answer for that – I have a contract and that is it.”
