Alexis Sanchez’s growing possibility of an Arsenal departure has been no secret, and whilst he tries to force a move away from the Emirates, the club has already spotted his replacement.

Though most Premier League viewers might find the name new to their ears, PSV Eindhoven’s emerging superstar Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano is the man wanted by the English giants.

The Pachuca youth graduate has not only led his team to their best start to a campaign since 1999, but has also taken Dutch football by storm, by becoming the first player to ever secure 7 goals in 8 games in the Eredivisie.

Consequently, the talented winger has caught the eye of many European elites, with the likes of Arsenal, United, City and Benfica registering interest. And though the Red Devils were considered favourites to sign Lozano, they now risk losing their wideman solution to the Gunners.

It is hardly a surprise that Arsene Wenger’s side has already started the quest to find a suitable replacement for Sanchez, whose current contract expires at the end of the season, with no indication of any interest in extending the deal from his part.

The Londoners are keen on securing the Mexican international’s services in order to stabilise their attacking prowess, and are prepared to cash in by triggering his €34 million release clause should the Chilean depart, according to multiple news outlets in Britain.

However, they face immense competition from the Old Trafford outfit, who are keen on replacing the aging Ashley Young. Though Jose Mourinho was expected to land a wideman during the summer, his attempts at luring Ivan Perisic and Thomas Lemar failed to materialise.

Nevertheless, the two rivals may yet again be seen locking horns for the 22-year-old Mexican sensation. The upcoming transfer window does seem full of surprises and exciting business.
