After shocking the footballing world with his record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar Jr. has surprised everyone yet again, as he is reportedly ‘regretting leaving Barcelona’.

Since arriving at the French capital, the Brazilian has managed to rack up a tally of 10 goals and 7 assists across all competitions in just 11 appearances. Neymar has shown exactly why PSG went so far as to break the world transfer record in order to sign him.

However, the talented winger, who reportedly left Catalonia to rid himself of then-teammate Lionel Messi’s shadow, is now regretting his decision to depart, as per Catalan TV station La Porteria. The ex-Santos man’s biggest highlight of his PSG career so far has been his on-pitch squabble over a spot-kick with fellow forward Edinson Cavani.

Since then, reports of a dressing room bust-up, and Cavani being offered quite a big sum to let go of his penalty duties have been at large. Though their game-time interactions have been rather stable, reports suggest of a constant tension between the attacking pair.

Further, the former Barca man is also said to be dissatisfied with boss Unai Emery’s tactics, and misses his past life at the Nou Camp. Moreover, the Brazilian international has also encountered his first suspension following his arrival in Paris, after he picked up a red card during his side’s clash against Nice, adding further salt to his wounds.

Nevertheless, there is hardly any way out of France for the 25-year-old this campaign, and he will have no choice but to end up staying put.
