Goretzka is a midfielder who can either play on the flanks or in the center of the pitch. His versatility is sure to go down well with Jose Mourinho, but he has also added a goal-scoring touch to his game this season.
Last year, he managed only 5 goals all season, but he has already found the net 4 times so far this campaign, and is destined to add more in the coming games.
The starlet has also represented his country on an international level on 12 occasions, and has an incredible record of 6 goals in 12 games for the senior German side.
Mourinho has been longing for a creative player out wide, as well as a midfielder who can compliment and work well alongside Paul Pogba. Goretzka seems to fit the bill perfectly at the moment, and it appears likely that United will jump into negotiations as soon as January rolls by.
