Notwithstanding the classy performances he showcased during the eventful fixture, Jose Mourinho subbed off Anthony Martial in the 67th minute of the match against Arsenal.

The Frenchman was replaced by Ander Herrera despite marking an incredible assist for Jesse Lingard’s first-half goal and being an impeccable threat on the flanks. Accordingly, the 21-year-old was frustrated with the gaffer’s choice.

During the primary months of this year’s campaign, the decorated forward has rarely played for the whole 90 minutes in a fixture.

However, seemingly, this decision in particular from the ex-Chelsea boss may have set the young star fuming. The France international’s frustration and disappointment when he was called off instantaneously reached the supporters.

Despite having relatively less match time, the French attacker has netted 8 times in 21 appearances, just 4 less than striker Romelu Lukaku.

The incredible potential of the instrumental forward attracts various clubs, and if he continues to receive less game time at United, he might pursue his goals elsewhere.
