Talent in Europe rarely goes unnoticed, and that has precisely proven to be the case for Schalke’s midfield maestro Leon Goretzka. At just 22, the German has thoroughly impressed top European clubs, and is conveniently in his final year of contract with the Bundesliga side.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona and Juventus have all expressed great interest in signing the starlet, and many of them are believed to have already made contact. With such a prestigious and equally tempting pursuit, Goretzka has revealed what his next destination will be.

After Schalke were held to a 2-2 draw against Koln, the midfielder remarked: “[My next club] is not a matter of money, I only need to decide what’s the best solution for me. I will take a decision by the end of January.”

This will be a big boost for a majority of the clubs, but the money remark will be an interesting one to battle out and discern. Financially better offers are something most of these clubs can provide in order to appear better than the other.
