Manchester United Planning Ambitious Swap Deal With Juventus

Manchester United are reportedly eyeing to hijack another Chelsea target in the form of Juventus star Alex Sandro, in order to find a permanent fix for their left-back problems.

After this summer’s Romelu Lukaku fiasco, Chelsea wouldn’t want to face a similar scenario once the transfer window re-opens in January.

The reigning PL champions have been keeping tabs on Sandro, though as it appears, they will once again be facing stiff competition from the Red Devils.

According to the report from The Sun, Blues’ boss Antonio Conte is still keen on signing the Juve star after having failed to land him in the summer. However, only this time, his club won’t be the sole frontrunners in the race to acquire Sandro’s services.

The 26-year-old defender, who now plays second fiddle to Kwadwo Asamoah in Turin, is believed to be the perfect answer to Jose Mourinho’s Luke Shaw problem at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese tactician is eager to land Sandro, but the Serie A outfit is said to be reluctant to sell their man in January, unless a bid in the range of £50 million is put on the table.

Though United might not agree to pay off his price tag, they might go forward with the deal involving a cash-plus-player transaction, with the player being Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Italian champions too, are reportedly eyeing the Armenian star, but could also agree to a deal involving Dutch defender Daley Blind, who is said to be on Barcelona’s radar as well.

With much better players on offer along with a sufficient transfer sum, the Red Devils undeniably have a better chance to land the Brazil international as compared to Chelsea.
