AC Milan Join European Powerhouses In Hunt For ‘Little Neymar’

Talented youngsters don’t go unseen by European powerhouses, and one such starlet’s abilities have led him to become the subject of interest from yet another giant.

Nicknamed ‘Little Neymar’, Ajax’s David Neres is believed to be on the transfer wish list of several major names.

As per Calciomercato, AC Milan are the latest club to have expressed a desire to sign the 20-year-old, joining Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal, and Juventus in the fray.

This is astonishing, considering that the player joined the Dutch club only this summer from Sao Paulo for a modest sum of €12 million.

Further, Ajax have been clear in recent months that no offer for the Brazilian will be entertained till at least the summer window.

However, with the recent sacking of Marcel Keizer, the side is certainly in some form of disarray, and as of such, might not be in the best position to say no if a big offer comes knocking.

And that might very much prove to be the case, considering that nearly all of the managers are highly intent on securing his services. Further, nearly all the interested sides are destinations that will prove apt for a player of his age and caliber to develop at.

With nine goals and twelve assists in a mere twenty-two games, it is easy to see why the South American starlet has achieved the unique nickname of ‘Little Neymar’.  But whether or not the youngster will follow in his footsteps will be interesting to see.

With the financial backing that nearly all of his suitors enjoy, the youngster could very well be set to make a step up in his career when the January window opens in the New Year.
