Informal Transfer Agreement: There’s Huge Twist In Antoine Griezmann’s Next Move
Real Madrid are setting up their transfer business to upset the whole of Barcelona fanbase, with the hijack of Antoine Griezmann’s reported switch to Catalonia.
The Atletico Madrid talisman has had a light foot on the Wanda Metropolitano grounds, with speculations of a move all over Europe.
Manchester United came very close to securing the Frenchman’s services, before a transfer ban was imposed on the La Liga giants, and the superstar ultimately stayed put at the Spanish capital.

More recently, Barcelona were heavily linked with Griezmann, with a deal said to be agreed in principle. However, Los Blancos have now joined their arch-rivals in the race to sign the French international, as per Diario Gol.

Real have reportedly told the striker to hold off any transfer dealings until the end of the current season, and have also promised him a guaranteed spot in their starting XI by club president Florentino Perez. An informal deal has also been agreed between the two parties.
A move to the Bernabeu makes more sense for the former Real Sociedad man, as Karim Benzema has been linked with a departure from Madrid.
Moreover, with Luis Suarez already an integral part of the Barca squad, game time would probably not be a luxury which can be exploited at Camp Nou.
On the other hand, with Diego Simeone already having Fernando Torres, Angel Correa, Diego Costa, and a few more talented frontmen in his squad, Griezmann’s departure may not affect Los Rojiblancos significantly.
And with consistent subpar performances from his side, Zinedine Zidane will be keen on introducing new legs to his squad in order to fancy his team’s chances of putting pressure on their Classico rivals.
