It is almost impossible to find a football fan who doesn’t complain about how incredibly boring their lives are without the sport they love.
Especially during the summer, where sports such as tennis take center stage and football succumbs to false transfer rumours and noncompetitive pre-season matches, there is very little to look forward to.
However, one thing that does always stand out and leave the fans on the edge of their seats during the ‘footy famine’ period, is waiting to see what jerseys the heroes of their favourite clubs will be wearing for the upcoming season.
Even during the season, speculation already begins as to what the next kit will look like. This is exactly what is going on with Manchester United fans at the moment.
Footy Headlines revealed that the new United kit for the 2018-19 season would feature more black on it than most United kits in the past.
The Old Trafford club generally sticks solely to a red template with one or two adjustments to the collars or sleeves, but the new revelation appears to have kept fans guessing even more as to what their new kit would look like.
Graphic designer Franco Carabajal has put forward his idea of what the likes of Paul Pogba and co will be wearing at the Theatre of Dreams once the new season begins.

His image shows he believes the shirt will have black horizontal stripes on the front that gradually increase in size and boldness from top to bottom, while the outline of the v neck, the adidas logo, and the edges of the sleeves are all in black.
There is no real guarantee as to whether the top matches the Red Devils’ plans, but as for now, it seems certain that the shorts will see black become the first choice pair instead of white for the first time in the club’s history.
