Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez finds himself in the centre of all attraction, as eyes are on him regarding which of the Manchester clubs he will join in the coming days.

The Chilean international was poised to join Pep Guardiola’s City over the summer, but the deal collapsed on the deadline day.

It looked like the player would either join City in January for a lesser fee, or see out his contract at the Emirates. But then, Jose Mourinho entered the fray, and things have since gotten very interesting.

United are willing to pay Arsenal more money than City, and also offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan in order to get Sanchez to Old Trafford.

Moreover, the league leaders are also against Sanchez’s demands for a three-and-a-half-year contract worth £400,000-a-week, and a £15 million signing-on fee out of the total amount.

Although, whether Arsenal take the Armenian is an unknown entity, especially with his current form and handsome weekly salary of £200,000-a-week.

Even if Arsenal reject the player, the Mancunian club could still get Sanchez for the desired £35m sum asked by the Gunners without having to part ways with Micki just yet. The Chilean has decisions to make soon, and this, in turn, has also got some of his teammates interested.

According to a report in Daily Star, some Arsenal players are really interested in knowing what Sanchez’s plans are, and that the prolific forward has discussed the same with them.

When asked which Manchester club he is intending to join, his reply was “What one?” according to the report.

Arsene Wenger recently stated that the club will decide on what would be the next step, and reports claim that the discussions are ongoing.

City are keen to land him in the summer for free, and United feel they can get the player now itself for the given amount, and provide a new dimension to the team and have a shot at winning a trophy.
