The new transfer of the decade may already be taking shape, as rivals Manchester United and Manchester City have reportedly contacted Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr. over a possible move.

The Brazilian is already being linked with moves all over Europe, despite only signing for the Parisians less than a season ago following a record-breaking €220 million transfer.

Neymar is dissatisfied at the French capital, and is on the lookout for a new destination for an escape, according to popular reports.

Further, according to Diario Gol, who are known for making ridiculous transfer claims, the talented forward regrets his departure from Spain, and has chosen former club Barcelona as his first choice destination should he manage to jump the walls of the Parc des Princes.

Real Madrid have also been proposed as potential suitors due to Florentino Perez’s admiration for the Brazilian international.

However, according to the Spanish news outlet, Jose Mourinho is ‘desperate’ to sign the former Barca star, and is prepared to splash the cash in the process.

Unfortunately, bitter neighbours from the Etihad are also keen on capitalising on the winger’s unsettled attitude in France. Boss Pep Guardiola is looking for a permanent replacement for Sergio Aguero, and has decided that the ex-Santos man is fit for the job.

As of now, both clubs have reportedly made contact regarding a potential deal, and nothing further is known about the situation.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old is currently injured, and continues to undergo his recovery back in Brazil.
