United offered the Middle Eastern star an opportunity to train and maintain fitness before the busy summer lying ahead.

The General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheik, confirmed the agreement between the clubs and revealed the season behind it.

“It was agreed with Manchester United for Mohammed Al-Sahlawi to join for a training program for three weeks,” Al-Sheik confirmed. “May God benefit him. This relationship is part of an exciting program we are undertaking to transform sport in Saudi Arabia.”
