Manchester United are looking to offload left-back Luke Shaw, with Jose Mourinho not convinced by the England international.
The club, in turn, wants to rope in Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti, and partner him with Eric Bailly.
Shaw has received criticism on numerous occasions by the Portuguese, and he feels that the club could cash in on him, with his contract set to expire in 2019.
As per Spanish outlet Don Balon, United are looking for a swap deal plus cash for Shaw in exchange for Umtiti.

The Frenchman has already registered himself as a vital cog in the Barca line-up and also the French national side.
With a renewal of his contract still not reaching a positive level, United feel they could come in and snatch him away from the Spanish leaders.
Umtiti, who has a £50m release clause, is regarded highly by Mourinho and several other top clubs across Europe.
Jose wants him to be a pivotal part of the United squad, as he is still not convinced by the rest of the defenders.
Reports state that a bunch of Red Devils are set to be offloaded in the summer in order to recruit some fresh faces.
Despite certain reports of Shaw being a target for the Catalan club, it is unknown whether the La Liga giants will actually accept such offer.
The talented youngster, who joined United in 2014, has a long future ahead of him, and could provide stiff competition for Jordi Alba at left-back.
