It could be a long battle between the Manchester clubs in the summer over Napoli midfielder Jorginho.
United are believed to be interested in the player to replace Michael Carrick in the team, and with the possible departure of Marouane Fellaini, manager Jose Mourinho is in line to get a valuable midfielder to join the ranks at the Old Trafford club.
They have also been linked with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but the Lazio midfielder is also believed to be in talks with Juventus for a move.
If that goes awry, then Jose would be willing to get Jorginho. But it isn’t that simple, as rivals Manchester City are also believed to be interested in the midfielder.

Reports state that a £50 million bid could be in line for the player by the Mancunian club to fend off interest from City.
United pipped City to land the then Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window, and Jose is reportedly preparing to do the same this time around.
Both City and United are looking to reinforce midfield options, with Nice’s Jean Michael Deri and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred linked with both clubs. Fred is a close call for City, and if the move happens, it could pave the way for the Red Devils to get Jorginho.
