Manchester United appear set to hand Marcus Rashford a brand new bumper deal.
Marcus Rashford has been one of Jose Mourinho’s most trusted players, as the youngster has notched a fair share of appearances under the Portuguese tactician.
However, thanks to Romelu Lukaku becoming the team’s main striker last summer and Alexis Sanchez joining up at the start of 2018, Rashford no longer remains a guaranteed starter for the Red Devils.
The Englishman has consistently had to play second fiddle to more established members of the squad, which has led to emergence of reports linking him with a potential exit from his boyhood club at the end of the current campaign.

As per multiple sources, the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain have all been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old’s situation in Manchester. Moreover, United believe their prized asset could attract even more attention following the World Cup.
Therefore, top officials of the Old Trafford outfit are set to offer Rashford a brand new contract, so as to secure his long-term future at the club, according to Daily Star.
Manchester United are supposedly worried about the number of European powerhouses monitoring Rashford. And while they are hopeful of putting an end to any advances by setting a £100m price tag on the starlet, the club hierarchy wishes to kill all interest entirely with this new deal.
The academy graduate had penned down a 4-year contract worth £25,000-a-week back in 2016 under Louis van Gaal’s management. However, this new deal would triple Rashford’s current salary, tying him down at the Theatre of Dreams in the process.
