Two of England’s biggest clubs are believed to be monitoring the situation of United star Eric Bailly.

The Ivory Coast international’s future at the Mancunian outfit has been a source of immense speculation lately, as Jose Mourinho has continued to avoid picking the impressive 24-year-old for the club’s recent games.

This speculation received a gigantic boost when the centre-back missed the club’s annual Player of the Year awards, with several social media users viewing his absence as the sign of confirmation of the supposed fallout between him and the gaffer.

However, Jose Mourinho put a fullstop to these rumours in his latest press conference, as he revealed that the only reason he hasn’t been picking Bailly in the recent fixtures is because the player’s nation, Ivory Coast, is not going to the World Cup.

Moreover, ESPN also revealed that the the former Villarreal man missed the POTY awards simply because of a dental problem.

But the same source has also indicated that despite the situation being not as bad as previously feared, Bailly has managed to attract interest from two Premier League juggernauts.

As per the report, London giants Arsenal and Chelsea have both been alerted by the recent reports, and they have acted quickly, by beginning to monitor the player’s situation at the Old Trafford outfit.

Any concrete approaches seem bound to be killed instantly, however, as Eric Bailly remains the best defender United possess, at least at the moment.
