Barcelona 2-2 Real Madrid: Best Twitter Reactions
Real Madrid held 10-man Barcelona to a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou, as there was plenty of drama and thrills in 90 minutes of breathtaking football.
The referee made some poor decisions on the pitch that saw both clubs feel disheartened in an enthralling El Clasico.
Barca were reduced to 10 men after Sergi Roberto was shown a straight red card after he appeared to slap Real defender Marcelo. But replays showed that the Brazilian rather chose a theatrical reaction and fell to the ground quite dramatically.
In the second half, there were two brilliant goals scored. First by Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi with a sublime left-foot finish.
And if fans could not get enough of that, Welshman Gareth Bale scored an even better goal to get Real a 2-2 draw. He was lucky to stay on the pitch despite an ugly tackle on Samuel Umtiti earlier, which made Barca fans go nuts.

Barcelona are incredibly flawed, the midfield still a joke compared to Real Madrid’s and that has to change if the club wants to challenge for European trophies again. Griezmann’s not the €100m solution, but he’s coming.
