United Could Get One Of Bundesliga’s Best Players If Martial Leaves
Swap deals might be in fashion once again. Always a staple of transfer rumors, it is very rare for the actual exchange to go through, and the Mkhitaryan-Sanchez saga of the winter was quite sporadic.
However, in their very nature, the deals make sense, particularly if players of the similar age, ability, and potential are the ones involved.
Now, one such saga could be on its way at United, and supporters of the Red Devils won’t be too happy about the player who might be on his way out.
According to Mirror, United are on the lookout for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic, and are willing to make an interesting offer to the Bundesliga side.

Anthony Martial plus cash may be offered in order to land the 19-year-old attacking midfielder. Rated at around £40 million, the youngster’s breakthrough years at Dortmund have led to him becoming not just a starlet of one-season potential, but possibly something more.

Other Premier League names like Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal are also believed to be interested, and the source reckons that United using Martial as a part of the deal may sweeten the possibility.
Martial has been in his fair share of linking news, with the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Juventus all touted to be seeking his signature at one point or the other.
Whether or not the German club will be seen as an apt destination by the Frenchman remains to be seen.

Of further importance is to understand how replacing a struggling youngster who was also a wonderkid at one point with another will aid Mourinho’s selection dilemma at a club that already has names like Rashford and Lingard vying for regular game time.
Pulisic himself had this to say about his development in an interview with Sports Illustrated: “Now that I’m at a higher level and playing in the Bundesliga, you think more of it as your job. How can I become the best? How can I take a certain aspect of the game and improve that to make myself better overall.
“Of course, we play because we always love the game. But it’s about figuring out what you need to take that next step. That’s what I think about now.”
