Jose Mourinho Photographed Watching Summer Transfer Target
After earlier reports stated that Jose Mourinho had identified Marko Arnautovic as a potential backup for Romelu Lukaku, the speculation has now gained further ground.
The Portuguese, who is impressed with the player, was seen watching a recent game between Russia and Austria.
Arnautovic played a key role in his side’s hard-fought 1-0 victory. The versatile player provided the assist for Alessandro Schopf to score what proved to be the winner in the end.
The West Ham man was played through on the right, as he then made a cutting move inside to find Schopf. The latter ran on to get the ball and slam home the goal.

Arnautovic is believed to be priced in the region of £40m after having a solid campaign individually with West Ham. The London club is not willing to sell their 29-year-old asset. But if United make a bid, it will be interesting to see what pans out from there on.

As per reports, if the Mancunian club fails to land the Austrian, they could go in for Mario Mandzukic. The Croatian already appears set to leave Juventus.
Despite having stated that he will not be in the market for a forward in the upcoming summer transfer window, Mourinho is now tempted to get someone who could provide that extra bit.
United lack a backup central striker, as the trio of Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial all prefer a role on the left flank.
At the end of the 2017-18 season, Rashford got chances to operate as a striker, which is his original position, but the youngster could not impress the manager.
With talks circulating that Martial is looking for an exit due to irregular game time, Jose could be on the move to get a second striker capable of suiting his demands.
Arnautovic offers many attributes upfront, and can also operate in a number of positions. Technically sound, the 29-year-old knows the league well, and is an intelligent customer.
