Calciomercato Provide An Update On The Future Of Alex Sandro
Manchester United look set to miss out on yet another transfer target this summer.
The Red Devils remain one of the strongest sides in England at the moment, but Jose Mourinho is desperate to add some quality to his side this summer.
This has seen the Portuguese tactician show interest in some of the finest stars in Europe, but one player his club has been extensively linked with is Alex Sandro.
The Brazilian missed out on a place in Tite’s national side for the World Cup in Russia, despite being one of the best players for Juventus last season. He helped them to yet another league title, but that has not stopped him from being linked with an exit from Turin.

Antonio Conte was interested in his services last summer, but Juventus managed to keep hold of the full-back for another season.
Reports emerging earlier this window claimed that Manchester United were ready to bid for his services. However, Mourinho seems to have failed to sign him, as Calciomercato claim that the player is ready to sign a new deal with Juventus.

The defender’s entourage maintained that Juve are yet to offer him a deal, but it is now understood that they were looking for impressive offers from elsewhere, which never arrived.
The Italian news site reveals that Sandro, whose current deal with the side runs till 2020, will now extend his stay at the Old Lady till 2022. He will also receive a pay rise, which wills see him earn €4m a year – a grand increase on the €2.8 he currently earns.

This exclusive also adds that Sandro is happy to extend his stay with the reigning Italian champions, but this development is sure to leave the Red Devils in the transfer market, looking for another left-back.
With Danny Rose and Joao Cancelo also on their radar, who do you think will arrive at Old Trafford next this summer?
