The next stage of the much-awaited FIFA 19 ratings is finally here.

After EA Sports set the ball rolling with the first phase of top 100 players on their official website, they have now continued the countdown to the top 10 with the next group of talented footballers that will be a part of the franchise.

The 80-61 list starts with Inter Milan’s Radja Nainggolan, who is rated at a very respectable 85. The Belgian is followed by Alex Sandro of Juventus, who starts the 86 rating category that includes gifted players such as Nemanja Matic and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Schalke’s Naldo is another surprising entrant in the 86 category, giving more weight to the rumour that EA Sports have been pretty generous with this term’s rating system.

Manchester City duo Fernandinho and Leroy Sane also fall in this boat after a brilliant season with the Sky Blues, though a World Cup disappointment for the latter has meant Sane doesn’t have a healthier rating than 86 this year.

City’s keeper Ederson and defender Nicolas Otamendi also come in with 86 this time around, as do Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller and defender Jerome Boateng.

The Premier League looks very well represented in this group of ratings, with attacking players such as Roberto Firmino and Mesut Ozil also finding themselves in this spot for the upcoming gaming series.

As we await the next lot of ratings, there is clearly a lot to look forward to. Already, we can see some clear talking points and some eyebrow-raising inclusions in the game, and while there is an air of consistency about the ratings this year as compared to last year, there still is scope for improvement.

With plenty of top-ranking players yet to be unveiled officially, football and gaming fans alike should be really excited for what is in store in the coming week or so.
