Update On The Horrific Head Injury Luke Shaw Suffered Against Spain
Luke Shaw and injuries go hand in hand. Just when the Manchester United left-back came finally out of his blocks to get to a great start this season, he once again was hit by an injury.
Shaw was fantastic for United in the first 4 matches of the Premier League 2018-19 campaign. The early promise and rise earned him a call in the England national team.
With the UEFA Nations Cup having started this year, the Three Lions were pitted against Spain in their League A game opener.
Shaw started the match ahead of Danny Rose and played a strong hand in the side’s opener. In the 2nd half, Shaw was stretchered off early on after a collision with Dani Carvajal. At least 10 members of the medical team assisted him.

Players, colleague and fans were worried about Shaw, but hours later, the youngster thanked everyone, and stated that he is a fighter and will be back soon.

United will be hoping he comes back soon and gets on the pitch. Shaw has faced some serious injury problems in the past, have once broken his in two places during a Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven in the 2014-15 season. The injury sidelined him for 11 months.
In 2016-17 campaign, he missed out several months with a groin injury. The there were two foot operations that ended his season and saw him make a delayed start in 2017-18.
Shaw has faced a lot of criticisms from Jose Mourinho earlier, but the United manager is now all in admiration for the youngster.
